“I enjoy the contradicting elements of ‘done’ and ‘undone’ in the outfit.”
Dressing up the originally sleepy stripes. I wasn’t too concerned with the wrinkles on my skirt, because my practical side challenges: “who irons her pyjamas?” Don’t bother! I never ironed my sleepwear. Ironically, I would, if I really want my silk PJs to look flawless… Aren’t we humans just full of contradictions sometimes?
I enjoy the contradicting elements of “done” and “undone” in the outfit. Hair, make up, and manicure done, dressy earrings and purse, paired with very sleepy and wrinkly stripped skirt.
When I pick my outfit of the day, I usually decide on one unique item first. For this look, it is definitely the stripped skirt. Then, I go on to choose the rest of the items to complement that particular heroine of the day. For example, I chose this pair of leather platform shoes because I enjoy the similar stripe effect; and this purse because of its glossy black texture that resemble the shoes, and my train of thoughts go on… Dressing up is just so much fun! And strolling around in the city with this in mind is truly pleasant.
Have you guys ever dressed contradictively? Or have you already took your pyjamas out to the streets? 😀 Share your ideas with me in the comments section below!
