This is my first blog post, ever!
Today I visited Châtillon-d’Azergues, a small medieval village in the Beaujolais area. The region is famous for its golden architecture constructed by golden-colored stones, hence the name Pays des Pierres Dorées (Country of the Golden Stones).
I believe wearing some cobalt blue will complement the various shades of golden yellow. So, I have decided to wear my warm ultramarine turtleneck from Uniqlo with the midnight blue long cardigan coat from Zara. I have always loved the soft, tiny glitters scattered across the coat. They give such a polished and understated glam touch.
I complete the look with the classic beige Christopher wool coat from A.L.C., which I consider as a winter wardrobe essential. I am very delighted to receive it as a Christmas gift from my dear boyfriend. ♥
Finally, accessories! I have chosen the mustard yellow leather gloves to harmonize with the golden stones, and give my outfit a touch of pop and fun. J I have also received these gloves as a gift from dear relatives during Christmas. Thank you again! ♥
Lastly, I wore my favorite pair of ECCO black booties. They have been my loyal friends that walked with me to different countries over the years – so durable, comfortable, and stylish. I can stay on my feet all day with these booties. They are truly worth it.
As for makeup, I put on my favorite majorelle blue eyeliner from Make Up Forever, to match my dazzling blue clothes. 😉
It is a freezing cold day, indeed! But, with these outfits, I am fighting the cold in style. 😉
